The X-version of this spare part is made of tool steel. This variant has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variations.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

In this option, the items are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifespan.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the cutting tools. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

The cutting tool suits knives and cutters with a length and width of 34mm. Due to the broad range of shredding machines, other configuration options may be available.
