In the X-variation, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

We underline that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The item is fitting for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 34mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, various configuration variants can be realised.

When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
