This X-version counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard option in most areas of application. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

We underline that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

This component suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 34mm. Due to the broad range of recycling models, other configuration variations may be available.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
