Spare parts of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the components. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the wide range of shredder models, other configuration options are possible.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
