Through the use of various materials and the variance in the cutting geometry, the product can be matched to the area of application in terms of throughput and knife life.

This cutting tool shown is made of tool steel in the X-option, which is our standard variation for most application areas. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Items of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 3 parts.

The component is ideal for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration options can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
