Comparatively, the W9-option is softer than the X-variant. Additionally, the W9-version wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.

Cutting tools of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 3 parts.

The item fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 37mm. Due to the broad range of models, other configuration options may be available.

When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
