The X-version of this item is made of tool steel. This variant has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-versions.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Products of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting tool is sold as a whole set, consisting of 3 parts.

The spare part fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of recycling models, further configuration variants may be available.

When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
