In the X-version, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will fundamentally weaken the structure.

Fastening the machine:

The counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 145mm. Due to the wide range of recycling machines, other configuration variations are possible.

When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
