Through the use of different materials and varying the cutting geometry, the item can be configured to the application area in terms of throughput and longevity.

This counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variation in most application areas.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife can be used for knives and cutters with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, further configuration variants are possible.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

General characteristics:

The measurements of the product are 399mm in length, 110mm in width and 30mm in height.
