Compatibility with machines:

The counter knife can be inserted for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Zerma (Amis) brand.

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be impacted by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well customised to the application scenario.

Knives in this W-variation are 5% softer in comparison to the X-variant and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. This spare part is fabricated out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it perfect for demanding areas of applications. However this version has a shorter tool lifespan.

Cutting tools of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will severely weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

This component suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variants may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
