The wear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the application.

This X-option counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard version in most break down applications. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Spare parts of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the components. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

This product is sold as a whole set, consisting of 4 parts.

This item is ideal for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration options can be realised.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

The cutting tool measures 1962mm in length, 99mm in width and 30mm in height.
