This component presented is made of tool steel in the X-variant, which is our standard variation for most application areas. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 130mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, further configuration variants are possible.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
