In the X-variation, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

Products of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife can be used for knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variants are possible.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
