Knives in this W-variant are 5% softer in comparison to the X-option and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. This spare part is fabricated out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it suitable for demanding areas of applications. However this variation has a shorter longevity.

Components of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

The item suits knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variants may be available.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
