Comparatively, the W9-variation is softer than the X-option. Additionally, the W9-variant wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also insensitive to impurities.

In this version, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears steadily over its lifetime.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of cutting tools of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 6 parts.

The spare part suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the broad range of models, further configuration options may be available.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
