This X-option counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard version in most break down applications. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 7 parts.

This component fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the wide range of models, other configuration variants may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
