This item shown is made of tool steel in the X-option, which is our standard version for most application areas. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Components of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of recycling machines, further configuration variations are possible.

When fitting the counter knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
