Comparatively, the W9-option wears more quickly than the X-variation due to its lower hardness. Also the resistance to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-version is a remarkable feature compared to the X-variant.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

We emphasise that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

This cutting tool is suitable for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 37mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.
