Through the use of various materials and the variance in the cutting geometry, the item can be configured to the application area in terms of throughput and knife life.

This spare part presented is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variant for most application scenarios. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

We highlight that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The cutting tool suits knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, other configuration variants may be available.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
