In comparison, the W9-variation wears more rapidly than the X-version due to its lower hardness. Also the resistance to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-variant is a noteworthy feature compared to the X-option.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will seriously weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This component fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 130mm. Due to the broad range of recycling models, other configuration options may be available.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
