The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard version in most areas of application.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Items of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting tool fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 50mm. Due to the broad range of shredding models, further configuration variations may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
