The performance of the item depends largely on the variation of the material and cutting geometry.

The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-version, which is the standard variant in most break down applications.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the service life of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this option, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 50mm. Due to the wide range of recycling machines, other configuration variants are possible.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
