This X-version counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard option in most break down applications. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Cutting tools of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, further configuration variations are possible.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
