This item can be customised to the application area, depending on the different materials and the variance in shape.

The W-option is produced from alloyed tool steel. The cutter in this variation is approx. 5 % softer than the X-version, which leads to a shorter tool life but at the same time it is less breakable. Cutters of this variant are used when the contact surface is no longer in an accurate fit or when the input contains impurities.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the lifetime of the cutter.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

For attaching, the cutter has a drilling for M10 threads.

When installing the cutter, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

General characteristics:

The measurements of the cutter are 25mm long, 25mm wide and 16mm high.

As the cutter is part of our Eco Line, this component is a cost-efficient alternative to the Premium Line.
