Cutters in this W-variation are 5% softer in comparison to the X-option and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. This product is manufactured out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it suitable for demanding break down applications. However this variant has a shorter operating time.

Spare parts of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this version, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

This item has a drilling for installing to M10 threads.

When attaching the cutter, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
