This component presented is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard option for most application scenarios. The hardness of this cutter is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Items of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the items. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting tool has a drilling for attaching to M12 threads.

When installing the cutter, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
