This X-variant cutter is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard version in most application areas. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Cutting tools of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the components. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

To fasten the cutter, the component to be fixed has a drilling for M12 threads.

When attaching the cutter, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
