The component presented is made of tool steel in the X-variant, which is our standard variation for most operational scenarios. The hardness of this cutter is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Products of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

To fasten the cutter, the cutting tool to be fixed has a drilling for M12 threads.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the cutters is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
