Through the use of different materials and varying the cutting geometry, the product can be configured to the area of application in terms of throughput and service life.

The W-variation is manufactured from alloy tool steel. In contrast to the X-version, it has a shorter operating time due to the 5 % lower hardness. However it is also less fragile in parallel. Cutters of the W-variant are optimal for utilizations where the contact surface is no longer intact or there are impurities in the input material.

In this variant, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the cutter wears homogenously over its lifespan.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will acutely weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter can be used for knives and cutters with a length and width of 34mm. Due to the wide range of shredder models, further configuration options are possible.

It is imperative that the cutter is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

General characteristics:

The component measures 40mm in length, 35mm in width and 20.5mm in height.
