Through the use of various materials and varying the cutting geometry, the item can be matched to the break down application in terms of throughput and durability.

The cutter is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variant in most applications.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

In this version, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the cutter wears consistently over its lifespan.

We underline that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the cutter, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

To attach the cutter, the component to be fixed has a drilling for M12 threads.

It is imperative that the cutter is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
