The cutter is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard version in most applications.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the cutter.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The component has a drilling for attaching to M12 threads.

When installing the cutter, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
