The shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable effect on the resistance and durability.

In the X-variation, this cutter is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the lifetime of the cutter.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting tool has a drilling for fastening to M16 threads.

It is imperative that the cutter is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

The dimensions of the product are 50mm in length, 50mm in width and 30mm in height.
