The product can be customised to the area of application, depending on the different materials and the variance in cutting shape.

Cutters in this W-version are 5% softer in comparison to the X-variant and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. This item is made out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it ideal for demanding application areas. However this option has a shorter longevity.

Items of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the components. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

This spare part has a drilling for installing to M20 threads.

When fitting the cutter, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
