This X-option cutter is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard variant in most areas of application. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

In this version, the items are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the cutter wears homogenously over its lifespan.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will severely weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

For installing, the cutter has a drilling for M18 threads.

When attaching the cutter, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
