In comparison, the W9-variant wears faster than the X-variation due to its lower hardness. Also the insensitivity to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-version is a remarkable feature compared to the X-option.

In this version, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the knife wears consistently over its lifespan.

We highlight that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting tool is applicable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 130mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration options can be realised.

When installing the knife, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
