The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be impacted by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the efficiency can be well adjusted to the input.

This alloyed tool steel is 5 % softer than the X-variant and is therefore less susceptible to fractures. This makes this W-option ideal for utilizations where impurities are present in the input. In return, however, this variation has a shorter service life.

In this version, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the knife wears evenly over its lifetime.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the items. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

This spare part fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 130mm. Due to the broad range of shredding models, other configuration options may be available.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knifes is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
