Compatibility with machines:

This knife can be inserted for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Untha brand.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The component can be customised to the area of application, depending on the different materials and the variance in cutting geometry.

The X-version of this spare part is made of tool steel. This cutting tool has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variants.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the service life of the knife.

We highlight that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
