This component can be configured to the application area, depending on the particular materials and varying cutting shape.

This alloyed tool steel is 5 % softer than the X-variant and is therefore less susceptible to fractures. This makes this W-option suitable for applications where impurities are present in the input. In return, however, this version has a shorter tool life.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the knife.

We highlight that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

General characteristics:

The knife is 195mm long, 56mm wide and 28mm high.

The special feature of our Eco Line, to which this knife belongs, is the lower price range compared to the Premium Line.
