In the X-variant, the knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the knife wears steadily over its lifespan.

We highlight that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

This product has a drilling for installing to M12 threads.

It is imperative that the knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
