The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the knife life can be impacted by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the performance can be well adapted to the break down application.

The knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variation in most break down applications.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Products of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The knife has a drilling for installing to M12 threads.

When attaching the knife, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
