The efficiency of the spare part depends largely on the version of the material and cutting geometry.

Comparatively, the W9-variant is softer than the X-option. Additionally, the W9-variation wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the knife.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

The knife can be used for knives and cutters with a length and width of 130mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, further configuration variants are possible.

It is imperative that the knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
