The cutting geometry and the material used for constructing have a considerable influence on the insensitivity and knife life.

This spare part shown is made of tool steel in the X-option, which is our standard variation for most application scenarios. The hardness of this knife is in the medium range.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the knife.

We emphasise that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

To fasten the knife, the product has a drilling for M12 threads.

It is imperative that the knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

General characteristics:

The measurements of the knife are 35mm long, 35mm wide and 20mm high.
