Compared to the Y-, X-, W- and W9-options, the W8-version wears faster, but in return demonstrates high toughness. This variation is resistant to many impurities and is accordingly suitable for utilizations with demanding conditions. This W8-variant has an advantage in terms of sustainability. This is because worn out components can usually be re-welded or re-armoured without resulting in breakage or machine damage. The material is a cold work steel.
