The X-option of this spare part is made of tool steel. This version has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-options.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the service life of the rotor knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.
