The efficiency of this product depends primarily on the version of the material and cutting shape.

In the X-variant, the rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the lifetime of the rotor knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

When attaching the rotor knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

General characteristics:

The component measures 1000mm in length, 90mm in width and 24mm in height.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 50°.
