In the X-variant, the rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Items of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the items. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
