This X-version rotor knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard option in most application scenarios. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Cutting tools of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will severely weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

When attaching the rotor knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
