The wear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be influenced by the material and the shape. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the input.

The W-version has a lower wear resistance compared to the X-variation, but shows a higher toughness. Knives of this variant are used when the contact surface is no longer in an intact condition or the input material contains impurities. In the W-option, this product is also produced from tool steel.

In this option, the items are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears consistently over its lifetime.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will fundamentally weaken the structure.

The cutting tool measures 470mm in length, 100mm in width and 22mm in height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 30°/30°/25°.

This favourable version in comparison to our Premium Line is part of the Eco Line.
