This rotor knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-version, which is the standard variation in most areas of application.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Components of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

When installing the rotor knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 40°.
