This rotor knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variant, which is the standard variation in most break down applications.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Cutting tools of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

We underline that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the rotor knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

It is imperative that the rotor knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
